Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Run Payroll, the customer agrees to these terms with Tax One Advisory (OPC) Pvt. Ltd.

2. Service

Run Payroll provides a SaaS platform for Indian payroll processing, including statutory deduction computation, payslip generation, statutory document preparation and bank transfer file exports.

We provide computation, document generation and export tools. The legal responsibility for accurate filing remains with the customer.

3. Subscription and billing

  • Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Free trial terms are shown during signup
  • All prices are exclusive of 18% GST unless stated otherwise
  • Failed payments may result in account pause after notice
  • Upgrades and downgrades follow the billing policy shown in-app

4. Data ownership

Customers retain ownership of payroll data, employee records and generated documents. Run Payroll processes and stores this data solely to deliver the service.

5. Acceptable use

Customers agree not to:

  • Use the service for fictitious or fraudulent payroll
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the platform
  • Resell, sublicense or share access credentials
  • Probe, scan or attack the infrastructure

6. Service levels

Public service-level commitments should be read with the active subscription agreement. Marketing pages should not override signed contractual terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Run Payroll liability is limited as stated in the active subscription agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages to the extent permitted by law.

Customers are responsible for verifying statutory computations against current law before making bank deposits or filings.

8. Termination

Termination, export and deletion timelines follow the active subscription agreement and statutory retention obligations.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction stated in the active agreement.
